Well, I am a little delayed in this post. We have had 2 very busy soccer weekends - Last weekend Jadyn's team played in the annual HIT tournament and her team fought their way to the championship. We had some very cold mornings but we managed to hang in there. Grandma Joyce and Cotton were here to see it to the end as well. It was very exciting to see these girls fight so hard. This weekend Jacob's team participated in the Autumn Bash tourney in Raytown. They played really hard and make it to the semi-finals - in the last game they played really hard but just couldn't manage to get a ball in the net. What a good job on their first tournement. Mike was here to cheer him on as well! Sunday I took Jadyn to Emporia for her first Olympic Development Program training session. Jadyn really seemed to enjoy it. Next weekend Eric and I will be taking her to Tulsa for a tournament where she will play in the U-15 division because of the year she was born. Jadyn is very excited and hopes this will help her with high school soccer. A few of her teammates play with this organization as well. The idea of this tourney is to see how the girls rank individually - not to win the tournament. After the 2nd game of the day on Saturday each girl will meet one on one for a personal interview with the coach for some constructive criticism. If I didn't mention it already, our first game is at 7:30 am on Sat and oiur 3rd game is at 8 am on Sunday. Soccer is not relaxing, that is for sure! Well, stay posted for next weekends results!
